Trunetta Atwater - Founder OF SOUL

Trunetta Atwater, Lexington, TN native, is a photographer, coach. She specializes in challenging entrepreneurs to bring their creative ideas to life through photo and education. Her philosophy is to empower creatives to be fearless in their businesses, to be real with their audiences, and to maximize opportunities to promote their products and services. She believes creative businesses thrive as a tribe and it’s her passion to lead entrepreneurs to their full potential through community networking and collaboration, education, and expressive photography. Trunetta is the treasure of NMS PTO. She serves on the City of Jackson Ethics Committee and is a member of the Jackson Equity Project. She obtained a BBA in

Finance at the University of Memphis; MBA grad of Union University.

Danielle Barbee - SOUL Treasurer

Danielle Barbee is the wife of Preston Barbee, mother of almost 2 year old Presley Barbee, and the owner of The Math Success Coach. After teaching high school math for 5.5 years, she decided on a different career path which led her to opening her own tutoring company. Danielle began her tutoring career back in undergrad in 2008 which led her into a teaching career and now edupreneur. With over 15 years of tutoring and education experience, she has helped hundreds of students from elementary all the way to the collegiate level close achievement gaps and accomplish their academic goals. 

Brandy Ross - SOUL Secretary

Brandy Patrice Ross is a native of Jackson, TN.  She is a 2002 graduate of South Side High School. After high school, she attended University of Memphis where she majored in Business. In 2021, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bethel University where she obtained her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources. Currently, she is employed at Pace Industries as a Human Resource Generalist. Brandy serves as an Ambassador for Greater Jackson Chamber, and she is also a mentor for Sisters With Aspiring Goals (SWAG).  In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends and shop.  Brandy is a devoted wife to Nick, and a proud mother to Autumn and Jayce. Brandy is also an active member of New St. Luke Missionary Baptist church and also a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.

Stephanie Graham - SOUL Community Relations Chair

A Jackson, TN native, Stephanie attended Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, GA, and is pursuing a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice at Lane College. She has over 25 years of community relations experience and is dedicated to improving her city. Stephanie enjoys networking and creating opportunities for local small businesses and entrepreneurs. She is married to Battalion Chief Wemond Graham, has two amazing sons, and is a proud Gigi of one.
